Sometimes the kindest of gestures wind up being remembered for years. That will definitely be the case for a gift one proud mother gave her son and the woman who will soon be her daughter-in-law. Thrilled with their engagement, the excited mom headed to an artist with a photo of the big moment when her son's fiancee agreed to be his wife. The mom asked to have the image of her son one one knee holding a ring up to his future bride made into a pendant in gold. She got it, but there seemed to be a small design flaw on it. The woman's future daughter-in-law shared the pic on social media with the caption, "My mother-in-law thought it was a good idea to get a sculpture of this beautiful moment."
Clearly, the artists didn't really think out how one of the man's arms might look. The commenters had a field day with it, writing things like, "Well damn, I bet she said yes," "An indecent proposal," and "She's gasping at the sight of that... engagement ring." Others noted, "Well, this is unfortunate," and "I didn't see it at first but omg."
No word on if either of the newlyweds wear the piece.
