Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City has announced a $50 million investment for 2025, marking the final phase of a $270 million overhaul that began in 2018. The upgrades include new hotel rooms, dining options, and expanded gaming facilities.
The resort will introduce 559 new Blu Rooms and Suites, inspired by the Atlantic shoreline, completing the renovation of all 1,860 rooms. The new rooms will feature luxurious amenities like marble bathrooms and spacious lounge areas. According to PR Newswire, Bill Callahan, the General Manager, stated, "Ocean continues to invest in property enhancements that enable us to provide an unmatched guest experience not only in Atlantic City, but nationwide."
Dining options will expand with five new venues, including LaScala's Fire, known for its Italian American cuisine, and two new restaurants by celebrity restaurateur Stephen Starr. PlayNJ reports that these restaurants will open in early summer.
The casino will double its Asian gaming space to 8,000 square feet, offering 32 gaming tables featuring mini baccarat and pai gow poker. Additionally, Ocean's 18 Mini Golf & Bar will open later this summer, featuring immersive holograms and a vibrant atmosphere.
The resort's beachfront has also expanded following a $92.6 million beach replenishment project by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, providing guests with more exclusive beach access.
